Terraem is Bryan's first published novel. For years he worked in informal education, directing a seminar center and working with youth. Upon completing his M.A. at the department of Sociology and Anthropology of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, stressing Cybersociology, Moral Panics and Popular Music Subcultures, he began teaching while working as an Internet consultant programming, testing usability and teaching Internet to the cyber impaired.

In 2001, he and his family set out on what turned out to be a three year trek to the Far East and Canada. They spent the first year traveling in India, Thailand and Vietnam, and then settled in Vancouver, BC for two years, .

He currently lives at 32 56'51N 35 18'51E, where he writes and does free-lance work in informal education and Internet consulting.
